Extreme endurance athlete Luke Tyburski pushes his body to the limit in punishing challenges often covering thousands of miles. 33 is his nutrition of choice

Formerly a professional football player, and with a degree in exercise science, Luke knows all about real food for real performance. After swapping football for endurance sport, his first running event was the Marathon des Sables (a self-sufficient 156 miles across Morocco's Sahara desert in six days) and trained for it running at altitude around Mount Everest in Nepal.

He then took on a double Ironman distance triathlon (swim 7.8km, bike 360km, run a double marathon). Wanting more he then devised his own event. Called The Ultimate Triathlon, this saw Luke take on a solo 12-day 2,100km triathlon starting with a swim across the Gibraltar Strait transitioning to ride the length of the Spanish coast, and finishing with a run across France to Monaco.
