“You have to heavily focus on nutrition. Your day to day activity probably makes up to 15-20% of your daily energy expenditure. Regardless of your exercise levels, you need to consider your nutrition:
- Focus on your shopping list. If you don’t buy it, you can’t eat it
- Go high-protein. Foods high in protein have a thermogenic effect and keep you feeling fuller for longer
- It’s all about veggies. Buy a load, get them in your kitchen and then you’ll figure out how to use them
- Cook from scratch. You’ll know what’s going in and can make more informed decisions"
